Bringing the experience of working backstage on an editorial photoset right to every stylist’s doorstep. A team building discussion about styling for photo shoots. This course covers everything from the tools you will need in your on-set kit to the future of editorial hair. Learn about base foundations, preparing hair texture and how shape and balance can make or break the scene.
Course Format: In Salon or Classroom setting. Presentation and demonstration on live models followed by hands on student workshop.
All for ONE and ONE for all: Salon Unity
In this course we are asking the question… what inspires you as a hairstylist? This salon building exercise covers how to market yourself, setting goals, learning how organization and tools make the difference in excellence, and finally how to blend your inspiration into your daily work routine. It’s all about igniting your passion and becoming the muse to your clients. Driven stylists equal a successful salon.

A course which breakdowns the hottest trends straight off the runway and teaches you how to utilize them in your styling. This workshop will teach you how the fashion forward looks were created and the best way to execute them. Learn how to use your communication skills with your clients to translate these couture looks from catwalk to the chair.

After a client receives a service in the salon the part they most look forward to is the final blowout. Unfortunately many stylists lack the experience working with many different hair types and how to properly style the client’s hair to best showcase the work they just created. You may have the basics, but it is time to perfect the finish. Learn to be a magician with your flat iron and finesse your way to the next level. This seminar takes the stylist through a variety of techniques of creating curls, waves, smoothing and straightening, and other fun unconventional ways to style with a flat iron.
Course Format: In Salon or small classroom setting. Demonstration followed by hands on student workshop.
New Breakthrough Artist
You can be the next great artist; take this class and learn to showcase your talents. It’s all about setting yourself up for a successful career in the beauty industry. Introducing hair stylists to the world outside of their chair in the salon. Discussing topics such as media, product development, spokesperson roles and sales to television and movies.
Course Format: Classroom setting with live demonstrations.
Texture Matters
The “In’s and Out’s” of Curly, Kinky, and multi textured hair. Don’t hide it enhance it. This seminar educates the stylist on the chemistry of different smoothing and relaxing methods as well as encouraging natural texture. Covering different styling methods, including heat styling and natural styling. It’s important for all hair stylists to feel comfortable with all hair types!

Wigging Out
This unique technical course covers the history of wigs from basic foundations to advanced color and styling techniques. With extensions and wigs playing such a big role in the hair industry today, we offer a chance for stylists to expand their skill set and amp up their arsenal of tools. Students will participate in intimate hands on workshop covering wig details, textures, materials, fitting and styling.
