Over the years, I have gone through quite the collection of flat irons for my hair. I have that annoying kind of hair that just cannot commit to being either straight or curly, so I have to have a bit of help from hot tools and hair product for the desired effect. I learned very quickly that the flat irons and the curling irons that can be bought at grocery stores just don’t measure up to the more expensive brands.
I’m always thrilled at the prospect of trying a new one to see if one that is available for less money can compare to the results I get when using a flat iron like the one made by CHI™, which is one of the more expensive brands that I have owned. Unfortunately, that shorted out on me just like my cheaper brands did, and I’ve reluctantly been searching for a replacement.
Though not the ideal size for me since I have medium-length hair, I was happy to try the mini by Crush™. It’s seriously the cutest flat iron that I have ever laid eyes on. Its size and low weight are perfect for slipping in a purse and using in the bathroom if you have a hair emergency when on a date or while at any other social engagement. But I have a lot of hair to get through, and unfortunately this little guy just couldn’t handle all of it in a decent amount of time.
